The start and the directions!

The entrance to the Bad Griesbach stalking path is directly at the “Weiherplatz” car park. Here it goes past the information board, right a few meters downhill and there is the first signpost for the stalking path. Go right and follow the path until you have to cross a small stream.

Then the narrow path on the right goes straight into the forest. You cross some wooden walkways up to a large tree staircase. These tree stairs must now be climbed carefully and carefully. Along wild blueberry bushes, you reach a tree throne and have to overcome a small incline. A climbing rope helps to get up the last little piece.

Once at the top, you will come to a wide forest path, which you continue to the left at the junction. Leave the forest path here and follow the signpost on the path that meanders downhill through the forest. You will soon meet the stream on the right. The shady path continues over a small incline. At a point on the brook laid out with large red sandstones ¨You can safely cross the water even with small children.

Arrived on the other side of the stream, it goes slightly downhill through the forest to a fork.
Keep to the right here and stay on the wide forest path until a very narrow path is hidden on the left, which leads downwards over tree roots to the pond and back to the starting point.

The highest point of the hike is 675 meters. Sturdy shoes are recommended, as the hiking trail also crosses a stream and it can be slippery in the forest. When it is warm in summer, everyone can put their feet in the cool stream. The forest path is also ideal for picnicking in the shady forest!
