There is a lot to discover for young and old on the Rötenbacher Ant Trail.
The starting point of the children's hiking trail is the Hardt hiking car park. From there it goes down into the Rötenbach Gorge, past the granite wall the narrow path meanders along the Rötenbach. The Rötenbacher Ant Trail explains interesting things on child-friendly information boards at 10 stations.
After the picnic area, we go up again through the crab ditch. In the crab crab you should be particularly careful, because if you look closely you may discover a crab here. Once at the top, the memory game awaits the joyful children's eyes. Now it goes on. The one at the large picnic area invites you to linger. The little ones can play and discover on the giant ants. We continue to station 10, which provides information on wood. This is the last stop on the trail for children before you get back to the starting point.
