From the Feldberg summit at 1493m you have one of the most beautiful panoramas in Germany. In autumn, when the air is clear, you can see the Vosges in the west over the Upper Rhine Rift. Occasionally, even with particularly good visibility, a view of the Palatinate Forest is possible. To the north is a look up to Hornisgrind possible to see the Swabian Alb in the northeast.
