The Krunkelbachhütte is a mountain inn in the southern Black Forest, located at an altitude of 1294 meters between the Herzogenhorn and the Spießhorn³. The hut is one of the highest mountain inns in the Black Forest.
Today the hut is run by the Jiinger family, who spoil their guests with regional specialities. The hut has 7 rooms with a total of 27 beds that are comfortably furnished.
The Krunkelbachhütte is an ideal starting point for hikes, mountain bike tours or cross-country skiing in winter. There are also numerous other hiking trails and cross-country ski runs nearby².
The Krunkelbachhütte can be reached by car via a narrow, single-lane road from Bernau-Dorf. Alternatively, you can reach the hut on foot or by bike.
