The bike park Wolfach has been attracting athletes from near and far for years when the weather is nice. It was created in 2002 on the initiative of Thomas Moser, who had previously actively participated in numerous dual slalom and downhill races across Europe. A year later, an association was founded that has maintained the facility ever since and expanded it significantly over time. Regular training is offered to over fifty members in spring and summer. They also attend races, organize advanced training courses in bicycle technology and barbecue evenings together. In winter, especially for younger members, indoor swimming pools and sleigh rides are on the program.
Since 2003, the regular staging of a major cycling race has become the most important event of every club year. - With increasing success. Both the number of spectators and the participating drivers are steadily increasing. In 2006, the first successful application to host the Baden-Württemberg championships in dual slalom.
Even if the focus of the association is mainly on the bike park in Wolfach, in 2005 the "Cross-Country Group" formed for the first time an association of association members who regularly organize mountain bike tours in the Central Black Forest. Since 2006 there has also been the "cruiser group" which focuses on relaxed driving on American-style bikes.
