Fact Sheet

Location: Loßburg

With a total height of 35m, the walk-in observation tower, which is made of original Douglas fir wood, towers over the Rodterhöhe nature reserve. For the 100th anniversary of the Black Forest Association local group Lossburg it was built in 2002.

Starting from the platform, which can be accessed free of charge all year round, an impressive 360° panoramic view of the surrounding area opens up. 172 steps lead up to the viewing platform of the Vogtei Tower in Lossburg.

On a clear day, visitors can enjoy a fascinating view from here, which lets the viewer's eyes wander far beyond the borders of Lossburg and reveals a view as far as the Zollernalb and the Swabian Alb.
