The Alpamare in Pfäffikon, Switzerland, is the largest indoor swimming pool in Europe. The Alpamare was opened on June 14, 1977. The swimming pool area is 25 m² and has 000 water slides that are 10 km in total, as well as a wave pool. It was the first of its kind in Switzerland. In Bad Tölz there is a pool of the same name, with which there is a cooperation in the development of slides.
