Protection against an emergency - before departure
If you book a package tour by motorcycle to the Black Forest, you can cancel the trip for urgent reasons or not start at all, but the costs are usually not reimbursed. However, an emergency occurs quickly: illness, accident or pregnancy, loss of job or taking up a new job.
In order to be covered for these situations, it is worth taking out travel cancellation insurance, for example with Europ Assistance. In the cases mentioned and a few others, the insurance reimburses the costs for the booked trip and supports the holidaymaker with a new reservation.
What to do if you get sick while on vacation
Even during the motorcycle trip around the Black Forest an upset stomach, a bad cold or a sore tooth can cause displeasure. This is not a problem within Germany.
