Current waiting times at a glance

Before planning your visit to Europa-Park, you should check the current waiting times. The website waitingtimes.app/europapark offers an excellent real-time overview of the wait times for all attractions. Here you can see at a glance which rides are currently the busiest and where you can expect shorter wait times.

Waiting times vary considerably depending on the attraction. Particularly popular and therefore associated with longer waiting times are: – Voltron Nevera (average 45-70 minutes) – ARTHUR (average 25 minutes) – WODAN – Timburcoaster (average 25 minutes) – Blue Fire Megacoaster (average 20 minutes)

The best days to visit

Contrary to popular belief, Wednesday is not the busiest day at Europa-Park. This is actually a myth, as data analyses prove. According to analyses by the portal "coaster.cloud," Wednesday was actually the busiest day last year. second quietest day in the park with average waiting times of only about 10 minutes.

The quietest days are usually: – Fridays (fewest visitors) – Wednesdays (second least visitors)

On weekends, however, you can expect longer wait times—on average, about 15 minutes per attraction. If you still want to visit on the weekend, choose Sunday rather than Saturday, especially in May.

Optimal times of day for short waiting times at Europa Park

The waiting times in Europa Park fluctuate considerably throughout the day. With clever planning, you can save up to two hours of waiting time. Here are the best times for some of the most popular attractions:

  • Silver Star: Shortest waiting times before 10am, between 13pm and 14pm and shortly before park closing
  • Fjord Rafting: Shortest waiting times before 11 a.m. and after 17 p.m.
  • Eurosat CanCan Coaster: Shortest waiting time between 17-18 pm
  • Wodan: Shortest waiting time also between 17-18 pm
  • Blue Fire: Shortest waiting time between 10-11 pm
  • Arthur: Shortest waiting time between 17-18 pm

A special tip: Use the midday hours between 12 and 14 p.m. to enjoy the attractions while other visitors are taking a break. Wait times are often significantly shorter during this time.

Strategic park planning

A well-thought-out route through the park can save you a lot of time. Since Europa-Park has only one main entrance, it is recommended to go directly to the back areas of the park after entering, for example to Iceland with the popular Roller Coasters Blue Fire and Wodan.

Here is an optimal process:

  1. Arrive early (the park opens daily at 9 a.m. during the summer season, and Deutsche Allee opens as early as 8:30 a.m.)
  2. Go directly to the attractions in the back of the park, e.g. with the EP Express
  3. Use lunchtime for popular attractions
  4. Return to the front areas towards the end of the day

Virtual Line and Express Options

Europa-Park offers a free Virtual Line system for selected attractions. With the Europa-Park app, you can reserve time slots for up to 5 people for the following attractions: – Voltron – Wodan – Blue Fire – Euro-Mir – Poseidon – Pirates in Batavia

However, please note that spaces are limited and can sell out quickly. It's best to try to reserve a spot before 9 a.m. when you arrive at the park.

Consider seasonal differences

Visitor numbers and therefore waiting times vary considerably depending on the season. It is especially busy during peak school season. Please note that holiday periods vary in Germany, France, and Switzerland. If possible, plan your visit outside of these times.

In the off-season you not only benefit from shorter waiting times, but also from cheaper admission prices in the online ticket shop of the Europa-Park.
