The Schürzenjäger: A New Wind in the Alps
Founded in 1973, Schürzenjäger are one of Austria's most successful bands and have significantly shaped the Alpine rock scene. After a turbulent history, Schürzenjäger now presents itself with fresh energy and a new lineup. Under the direction of Alfred Eberharter Jr. and with the charismatic frontman Dominik "Ofi" Ofner, the band has found new strength.

Jamaican musician Burning Spear is one of the most influential voices in reggae history. For over six decades, he has embodied a powerful musical vision that transcends the genre's boundaries. With his unmistakable voice and deeply rooted message of self-determination, cultural identity, and unity, he has influenced generations of listeners worldwide. Burning Spear began his career in the late 1960s after meeting Bob Marley, who brought him to Studio One—one of Jamaica's most successful labels. There, he created early classics such as "Burning Spear" and "Rocking Time." In the 1970s and 1980s, he became a defining figure in roots reggae. With albums like "Social Living," "Hail HIM," and "Resistance," he set new standards, blending roots reggae with influences from jazz, funk, and rock. Together with his partner Sonia Rodney, he founded the label Burning Music Records, through which they released numerous albums, CDs, DVDs, and vinyl productions. Burning Spear has received numerous awards for his work. He has been nominated for a Grammy Award twelve times and won two awards for his albums "Calling Rastafari" and "Jah Is Real." In 2007, the Jamaican government honored him with the Order of Distinction for his outstanding contributions to music. Alongside his musical work, Burning Spear has been socially active for decades.
