We all know the robber Hotzenplotz from our childhood. On this children's hiking trail Gengenbach the children will find lots of traces and stations of the common robber.
The small robber path is one of two "robber Hotzenplotz paths" which start in the Gegenbach district of Strohbach. For the "Great robbers trail“ we created an extra page.
The little robber path
The path for children of kindergarten and primary school age starts at the Strohbacher Steinbruch and leads 3,6 km through the forest. The path is narrow and it goes up steeply. Accordingly, this path is not suitable for strollers. All stations show environmental educational aspects. The visitors gain insight into neglected habitats and discover animal species and plant varieties that are worth protecting. The little robber Hotzenplotz path leads through an interactive quiz. Adventures and stories about the robber Hotzenplotz and his grandmother, the widow Schlotterbeck and the sergeant Dimpfelmoser and of course with Kaspar and Seppl can be experienced along the entire route. Big and small robbers practice cone targeting, can practice the long jump with Hotzenplotz and his friends and track down the next tasks on the lookout.
