The Nagold Magic Forest is a forest adventure trail that is suitable for children, families, forest friends, kindergartens and school classes. Here, elves, fairies, ghosts and trolls are waiting to be found. Of course there is magic forest, roots, leaves and coarse gravel on the forest path. The path is still suitable for small children in buggies or strollers. However, the path is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users.

Four fantastic themes on two tracks!

In the magic forest, there are two circular routes of different lengths of 2,1 km marked with a blue arrow or a shorter circular route of 1,4 km marked with a yellow arrow. The forest paths are very beautiful to enjoy the nature of the Black Forest and to unwind.
The magic forest is divided into four beautiful and imaginative subject areas, you can find many mysterious mythical creatures and learn a lot about the Black Forest and its animal inhabitants.

The gnome forest marks the magical beginning of the adventure for the explorers. In the forest many funny elves, with their brightly colored elves' hats, have hidden themselves to be found. The gnomes have invented a funny pixie bingo and ask questions like in a school or in a quiz. This very creative gnome bingo is available on the website of the city of Nagold https://www.nagold.de/zauberwald. Whoever finds all the elves, fairies, ghosts and trolls first wins the elves bingo.

Fairyland follows as the next spectacular station. It is well known that fairies can fly, friendly but shy, because they have wings. Therefore it would be advisable to look up into the trees to maybe find the fairies there.
The penultimate station in the forest is the Geistersteige, since there are only friendly and funny forest spirits in the Nagold Magic Forest, who are always happy to have a nice visit, nobody has to be afraid.
The best comes at the end of the road, the troll path with its kindhearted trolls. On the troll path, for example, visitors to the magic forest can romp around and let their imagination run wild.

Something for treasure hunters!

Another creative highlight is the treasure chest, this is for adventurers and treasure hunters from the magic forest. This chest is hidden at the bridge guarded by trolls and in which a valuable treasure can possibly be found if grandparents, parents, teachers or educators hide it in the treasure chest beforehand.
If you want to bring a padlock with a key, the children can look for this treasure key on the way to the treasure chest. Please don't forget to remove the padlock so that other treasure hunters can use the treasure chest as well.

Tip: The Häfele Hütte

The Häfele Hütte offers barbecue and party facilities for private matters such as children's birthday parties near the magic forest!
The Häfele Hütte is located directly in front of the magic forest next to the Killberg car park. The hut with playground and outdoor grill is an ideal place for grilling and partying for private affairs. (No public events permitted). The open area is equipped with about 50 covered seats. The hut has a kitchen and a toilet facility. You can rent the Häfele Hütte on the website of the city of Nagold.
