N / A? Have you spotted a chamois yet?
So a question could be on the small hike, one will be able to answer with a clear "yes". The hunters from the Oberen Wiesental in the southern Black Forest have taken the trouble to develop an interesting nature trail about the local chamois. Chamois can actually be spotted and photographed again and again along the path.
The route
The starting point of the approximately 3km long Chamois Trail is the parking lot above the Fahler Waterfalls between Fahl and Feldberg . The trail leads along a narrow, sometimes root-covered forest path, first down to the waterfalls and then past the Todtnau district of Fahl, before ending at the Kneipp water-treading basin in Brandenberg. Along the way, there are numerous information panels, both large and small, about the local wildlife and other interesting facts.
Take a rest
There is a newly prepared picnic area between the towns of Fahl and Brandenberg. Two sets of benches, a grill and a jumping station invite you to linger.
Is the path suitable for pushchairs?
The path runs on rooty paths and in the area of the Fahler waterfall there are also some steps. The path is certainly not manageable with a normal stroller.
