The Münstertal family trail offers a varied tour of almost 7 kilometers, for which you should allow a leisurely three hours walking time. Accompanied by the wood mouse Waltraud and the field mouse Felix, there is much to discover at various activity stations – from climbing From long jump to puzzle solving, there's something for everyone. A real highlight is the long marble run at the Süssenbrunn hiking parking lot.
A little insider tip: Be sure to pack a 2-euro coin so you can get the thick wooden marble from the machine!
Since the forest paths involve some steep uphill sections, sturdy footwear is absolutely essential. Those who prefer a more relaxed pace or are hesitant about the initial climb can shorten the hike and start directly at the Süssenbrunn hiking parking lot. Important for families with very young children: the path is not suitable for strollers; a child carrier is recommended.
At the highest point of the tour, the Lägerhütte, you will be rewarded with a magnificent view.
This spot is perfect for unpacking your picnic backpack and enjoying a snack before heading back downhill.
