Characteristics

Location: Gaggenau
Suitable for prams: ja

Visitors to the Unimog Museum can expect a 100 percent incline, a 70 percent decline and a 20-degree incline. The Unimog has been an impressive part of the history of commercial vehicles for 70 years, as its worldwide work assignments and its own museum prove. In Gaggenau, Baden-Württemberg, where the Unimog was manufactured for more than half a century, the museum invites you to marvel and discover.

In this museum, visitors can admire Unimogs from different decades, from the first prototypes to the latest generation of implement carriers. In order to clarify the special features and areas of application of the vehicles, there are cutaway models, vehicle parts, pictures, films and stories. The highlight of a visit is certainly the ride on the outdoor course, and those who would like to sit behind the wheel themselves can book an exclusive driver training course.

Thanks to temporary exhibitions and numerous events, the Unimog Museum always offers new insights and experiences. It deals with key aspects of Unimog history as well as fascinating chapters from the industrial and cultural history of the region. Even art lovers get their money's worth here, for example at exhibitions by Andy Warhol.
