The museum shows splendid specimens from private collections from famous Black Forest sites. Azurite, malachite, chenevixite, olivite and giant quartz from the Neubulach district are represented. Particularly worth seeing are the up to 20 cm large mimetallic steps from Badenweiler, magnificent barytes and fluorites from the Clara pit, lead luster crystals encrusted with pyromorphite with an edge length of 4 cm from Sehringen, 15 cm measuring pyrolusite steps from Gremmelsbach near Triberg and bright green fluorite octahedra from Steinbach ?? Sites such as Silberbrünnle, Todtnau, Wittichen, Reinerzau and all agate sites are well documented.
