Since 2001, the most modern nature conservation center in the state of Baden-Württemberg has been located at the foot of the Feldberg in the Black Forest in the Haus der Natur Südschwarzwald.

The nature conservation center offers many opportunities to experience and get to know the diverse natural and cultural landscape around the highest mountain in the state of Baden-Württemberg.

?? An attractive range of different events is one of the great strengths of the nature conservation center ?? so can Dr. Stefan Büchner, head of the center, can confidently look at a rich program of events. He reports on the interaction between nature conservation and nature use on the Feldberg and introduces visitors to the various areas of his daily work as a full-time nature conservation warden in an entertaining way. He shows you the most beautiful corners of this impressive, unspoilt landscape.

As part of the children's program, children can also use ?? rangers ?? become: For the acquisition of the? Junior Ranger Badge? The experience of nature in winter also has its own special charm: snowshoe tours with the forester through the snow-covered winter landscape leave the hearts of die-hard ?? nature grouches ?? beat faster.

Almost all events of the nature conservation center can also be booked freely by groups.

Various seminars, e.g. B. on medicinal plants, the production of the famous Black Forest ham or astronomy as well as lecture evenings always set new focuses and enable the participants to deal with the topic in detail.
