Location: St. Blasien

After a fire in 1768, a new abbey church was built in the early classicist style. The dome is 46 meters in diameter and 63 meters high and is the third largest of its kind in Europe. The towering cathedral looks a bit out of place due to its secluded location in the middle of the Black Forest.
