There are now 4,5 million e-bikes in German households, and the trend is growing. In the meantime, even fit people are increasingly turning to environmentally friendly two-wheelers. The electric motor provides welcome support, especially in headwinds or on hilly terrain.

The Black Forest offers an excellent infrastructure

In the Black Forest there are ideal conditions for a holiday with the e-bike. In addition to varied routes for the whole family, the region has an excellent infrastructure that goes far beyond good overnight accommodation. A lot has been invested in recent years to build a good network of charging stations for e-bikes. Batteries can also be easily changed on the go.

Explorers and nature lovers can go on radonline.de buy e-bikes. You can enjoy cycling through the Black Forest, even if there is a mountain in the way. This challenge is easy to master with electrical assistance. Inexperienced and not so muscular cyclists no longer have to stay in the valley, but can drive around the lakes of the Black Forest. The panoramic routes offer beautiful views of the Swabian Alb or the Vosges. If you don't want to pedal from the valley to the heights, you can use the bike bus. It reliably brings the pedals and bikes to the starting point of the route.

With the e-bike on a discovery tour

Those who like to go on discovery tours have new possibilities with the e-bike. Compared to hiking, longer daily stages can be planned. In contrast to touring bikes or mountain bikes without a motor, mountains and headwinds are easier to cope with. In this way, vacationers can combine exercise in the fresh air with the relaxed enjoyment of a charming landscape.

The selection is large and ensures that not only connoisseurs but also sporty cyclists will find the right bike. There are now even e-racing bikes that are particularly light and fast. Off-road e-trekking bikes, but also e-mountain bikes, should be suitable for the Black Forest. The e-cross bike is a cross between the three variants. Most batteries last around 130 to 200 kilometers, which is enough for a day in the fresh air. However, the range is reduced with many climbs or frequent starts. The weight, the selected gear and the level of support also influence the battery's range of action. The electricity for one battery charge costs about 20 cents. Compared to cars, e-bikes are cheap and the riders have a much greater experience of nature.
