The Riedseen are several quarry ponds in the Donaueschingen and Hüfingen region. The two large lakes are referred to as Riedsee I and Riedsee II, the smaller lake being in the immediate vicinity of the campsite and having a sandy beach.
According to Stiftung Warentest, the water quality is “recommended”.
