In the Hugenhof, which is over 300 years old, the history of skiing is exhibited since its beginnings in the Black Forest around 1890 on the Feldberg and its spread to the European low mountain ranges. Successful athletes such as Georg Thoma as the Olympic Nordic Combined champion and Christl Cranz as an alpine runner are represented, as are the production of skis and equipment and other departments - colorful ski fashion accessories, ski films, showcases full of medals, trophies and starting numbers, in short: from old wooden skis to snowboards is an exciting development in winter sports. Winter landscapes, painted around 1900, enrich the historic Black Forest farm. In 1999, part of the attic was set up as an area for special exhibitions. Since then, the Ski Museum has shown around four presentations a year with works by contemporary artists.
