Summer at the Mehliskopf

Rush through the flowering meadows in the imaginary ice channel, enjoy the aromatic Black Forest air around your nose and then relax in a neat way. This is what a perfect family vacation trip to the year-round bobsleigh run on the Mehliskopf looks like. Right on the famous Black Forest High Road Since July 2001 you have been able to pound here on steel rails at a speed of up to 40 km / h through 11 banked curves that it only rustles. An insane feeling of speeding into the banked turns, being torn around and for a moment of shock to believe that you are about to take a flight into the open countryside. But don't worry, no one has been thrown off the track yet, of course the bobsleighs are securely connected to the rails and the pilots are buckled up. The bobsled run has a total length of 1.000 m, four partial forest curves, seven partial meadow curves, eight water crossings, several waves and tunnels and an average gradient of 8%. This is full, untroubled driving fun for everyone!

Opening hours:

Saturday / Sunday / public holiday from 10 a.m. to 17 p.m., May to August 10 a.m. to 18 p.m., daily during the holiday season. Groups can also pre-register for these days on Tel. 07226/1300. The opening times are daily on the homepage www.mehliskopf.de updated.

The 4-in-1 bungy trampoline on the Mehliskopf also offers year-round fun. A hip belt connects the movement enthusiast with the two bungy ropes. By jumping on trampolines you literally take off (secured).

Winter on the Mehliskopf:

And when the summer is over at some point and the temperatures drop below freezing point, the snow-making system transforms the Mehliskopf into the longest slope in the northern Black Forest with up to four double-bar T-bar lifts up to 1.007 m above sea level. On the valley run in Ski area on the Mehliskopf you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Rhine plain. After all, you can have a nice holiday at home even in winter!

Opening hours:

Daily from 9 a.m. to 22 p.m. depending on the snow conditions

The opening times are daily on the homepage www.mehliskopf.de updated.

In 2006 - 2007 an adventure climbing garden with 7 parcours with information path was created in 2007. The courses 1 - 7 increase in difficulty. With 75 tasks, we are one of the largest climbing gardens in Germany. As a tourist-oriented climbing garden, the tasks are designed in such a way that everyone who is physically and physically healthy from the age of 8 and a minimum height of 1,30 m can climb them.

On approx. 3,5 ha climb, balance and slide through a world of ropes, beams, bridges, nets and cable cars.

Enjoy nature in the vertical! For the young and the young at heart as a family, school or company outing, alone or with friends. Only courses 6 and 7 are only released from the age of 16. In the adventure forest playground with a climbing root and water play area and tree house, everyone can test themselves on "low rope elements" free of charge.

The information path refers to other attractions along the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse between Baden-Baden and Schliffkopf and deals with the topics of nature and forest. Bows and arrows can already be shot in the open space in the west via subcontractors or mountain bikes can be rented for guided / unguided tours.
