In the Kinzigtal holiday region, the adventure path in Hausach offers fun and games for children.

There are 20 adventure stations on the adventure trail

On a 3 km long path through the woods above the village of Hausach, children can romp to their heart's content, climb and have fun. 20 different adventure stations make the adventure heart beat faster and encourage exciting activities. Various Indian games, water games and tunnels offer numerous fun experiences for children and there are no limits to the imagination on the adventure path in Hausach! Climbing, scrambling, balancing ... everything is allowed here and can be tried out. A wide variety of natural materials such as wood, stone or gravel were used for the stations.

The path meanders from Hausach's local mountain to the Husen castle ruins, which can be found on the summit together with other historical spots and offers a wonderful view of the Kinzig valley.
The water treading facility marks the beginning of the adventure path in Hausach. Either you walk from the city center - this takes around 20 minutes - or you drive directly to the water treading facility.

Tip: The way is not suitable for prams! So leave it in the car or at the accommodation.

First, a steep ascent leads to a hut that is perfect for a short rest. A detour to the Kreuzberg chapel is worthwhile. After the hut, a wide path goes left towards the Sägebeckweg. This is signed and also offers seating to breathe through.
A small incline finally leads to the castle, from which the path leads back to the starting point. From the lowest point to the highest point at 377 meters, 122 meters in altitude are overcome.

Even at the beginning of the rather steep path, children can balance parallel to the path over tree trunks that zigzag over a ditch. Then you have the opportunity to climb in the undergrowth or lift weights with stones. Who can do more?
The children can put their skills to the test at the palisade run, in the earth tunnel and at the Indian ladder. The tree house and the colorful snake offer the opportunity to balance.
When overcoming a steep slope with the help of a rope, the climbing talent shows and this obstacle drives away boredom.

The Hausach Adventure Trail also offers the opportunity to try out a cone thrower with cones collected in the forest. Who will win and who will shoot the farthest?

A long jump facility, a labyrinth of willow branches, a badger's den with a tunnel system and the meadow slide are further possibilities to let off steam, to gather new impressions and to get dirty. The kids will love it!

If it does get too much, the tree house or the partner swing offer the perfect opportunities to process what you have experienced and regain your strength.

A visit to the Hausach Adventure Trail offers a successful and exciting change in the open air and will be remembered for a long time.

Tip: Although the hiking trail is very easy, please be sure to bring sturdy shoes with you. Allow around 90 minutes for the adventure trail in Hausach so that you can try everything out in peace.
