Thoma ski center
The ski center Thoma has to offer 3 lifts and 5 runs over 4 kilometers of slopes including the largest floodlight system in the Black Forest. Whether skiing fun for the whole family or rapid descents for professionals, the Thoma ski center is interesting for young and old or beginners to professionals. Floodlit skiing fun takes place weekly from Monday to Saturday from 18.00 p.m. to 22.00 p.m.

The ski arena Spießhorn on the local mountain in Menzenschwand is an insider tip. Easy and medium category ski slopes as well as an FIS run are perfectly groomed. The 1.350 m high Spießhorn also attracts snowboarders and offers cross-country skiers a 54 km network of trails. About 30 km from Freiburg in Breisgau is the Breitnau ski lift in the eastern Black Forest. A lift, three slopes as well as a toboggan run and ski hut offer skiing pleasure.
