Starting point: Kunzenmoos hiking car park in Feldberg-Bärental
At the mouth of the Seebach stream, the trail to the Raimartihof (a roughly 300-year-old mountain farm and inn in the Black Forest region) begins. Follow the "red dot" trail marker past the Zipfelhof and Zipfelmühle to the Raimartihof. A short detour to the Feldsee (a cirque lake) is highly recommended. Continue following the "red dot" trail marker and hike along the Karl-Egon-Weg to the Feldbergbahn valley station. The Feldbergbahn cable car will take you comfortably to the summit; from there, continue to the Bismarck Monument, where you have a magnificent view and can gaze into the "Eye of God"—the Feldsee. Now follow the "red rhombus" trail marker to the St. Wilhelmer Hütte, then change to the blue rhombus trail marker to the Baldenweger Hütte.
