Every year the Black Forest attracts tourists from Germany and around the world with its diverse highlights.

The Black Forest Panorama Road crosses six idyllic villages on its route, and in places reaches a height of up to 1243 meters above sea level.

Although the route is relatively short at under 100 kilometers, there is hardly a route that offers such diverse insights into the local natural environment.

From the Vosges to the Alps, and in places even into the Rhine Valley, the panoramic road reveals.

Not only for hikers and sports enthusiasts, the route is a pearl among the tourist routes. Lovers of good cuisine or those interested in culture will also find an excellent selection of offers here.

Starting in Waldkirch, the first stage of the ZweiTälerLand runs at the foot of the Kandel, through a picturesque old town.

Where appealing trails in winter appeal to cross-country fans of all levels of training, wonderful hiking trails run through the area in summer.

From a cultural point of view, the city of Waldkirch is particularly known for its building of barrel organs, and the former gemstone cutting shop also made a significant contribution to their popularity.

Visitors who are in possession of the KONUS guest card also benefit from some discounts around the Glottertal.

In the cold season, 3 different lifts work for the satisfaction of the local winter sports enthusiasts, who enjoy the various downhill options with the best equipment.

The Black Forest Panorama Road continues towards St. Märgen, a small gem with its own natural outdoor swimming pool. The small town has around 1900 inhabitants and greets visitors from a distance with the spires of the famous “Assumption of Mary” pilgrimage church. Another popular excursion destination is the Rankmühle, which can only be viewed from the outside as it is privately owned, but offers a unique view of the surrounding region.

As on the entire route, there are countless opportunities to stop off here.

With a little fewer inhabitants, but no less charming, you follow the Black Forest Panorama Straße to the tranquil town of Breitnau.

Mountain bikers in particular get their money's worth in the climatic health resort. Typical for the region are the many small farms that settle through the green of the slopes.

It is worth a visit Hell Valley, which is surrounded by steep slopes with an impressive 600 meters height. This spectacle is around 9 kilometers long and represents an important hub for the logistics of the region.

One of the most beautiful sections of the Black Forest Panorama Road is certainly the area around Hinterzarten, which has established itself as the pearl of the Black Forest.

Numerous tourist offers such as wellness, guided hikes and extensive offers for families are perfectly rounded off by the unique view.

From ice skating to the golf course, there is something for everyone in Hinterzarten. Also in a culinary sense.
