With expert guides, you take the mine railway into the mine on a level, easily accessible and well-lit path. After around 900 m, past the structures, the niche with the patron saint of miners, Saint Barbara, and the carriages of the former mining railway, you reach the Finstergrund ore and mineral mine.

The “Finstergrund” mine can look back on a long history. The old upper tunnels were built in the late Middle Ages to extract silver ores. Discover the various rock deposits, mysterious passages and crevices on a guided tour with a train ride.
